ClearBlue's Managing Director of Origination, Michael Berends will speak at the Argus North American Biofuels, LCFS & Carbon Markets Summit on October 18, 2021. On the first day of the Summit, Michael will join the panel "Canada focus: A deep dive into national and sub-national developments" speaking alongside Chelsea Bryant from Radicle and Judy Meltzer from Environment and Climate Change Canada. The talk will be moderated by Katie Sullivan, IETA's Managing Director. The group will focus on: Canada's national initiatives and provincial and territorial programs, the response to Canada’s enhanced National Determined Contribution (NDC) and efforts to achieve net-zero GHG emissions by 2050, market views on the federal framework to reduce emissions, Canada's evolving regulatory landscape and its challenges, as well as the impacts of the voluntary market.
