With a decades-long career spanning North America and Europe, he has held senior positions in top energy and financial organizations, including Barclays Capital, Vattenfall Energy Trading, and ICL, in trading, origination, procurement, and sales.
Michael has successfully executed numerous global carbon product deals and devised pricing and risk management strategies for emitters in compliance and voluntary markets across more than 50 countries.
Under Michael's leadership, ClearBlue Markets has experienced remarkable growth, expanding sixfold, earning its place as a trusted partner for hundreds of corporations worldwide and launching the Vantage carbon intelligence platform. In 2023, ClearBlue Markets secured an investment of $8 million in financing led by the Royal Bank of Canada.
Michael holds a Master's degree in Conservation Biology from the University of Toronto and a Master's in Environmental Management from the University of Amsterdam.

Jennifer has two decades of experience guiding clients through the complex environmental markets landscape, emphasizing policy analysis and forecasting pricing for environmental commodities. Jennifer also frequently presents at conferences and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, among other publications.
Prior to joining ClearBlue, Jennifer was the Lead Analyst for Low-Carbon Markets at S&P Global Platts, responsible for collaborating across commodity teams to develop and communicate market outlooks. Jennifer also helped build the newly founded environmental practice as Director of Emissions and Clean Energy for PIRA Energy Group, which was acquired by S&P Global in 2016. Jennifer holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Cornell University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Drew University.

Tyson Dyck is a partner in Torys LLP’s Toronto office and leads the firm’s Climate Change practice. He has decades of experience in the carbon markets, having worked on some of the country's earliest carbon offset deals and emissions reduction funds. He now advises clients with responsibility for over 100,000 kilotonnes of GHG emissions as they transition to a low-carbon economy.
He is regularly retained to advise on the development of carbon trading and compliance strategies, on agreements for the purchase and sale of carbon credits and renewable energy certificates (in both compliance and voluntary markets), and on long-term offtakes for carbon removal and avoidance projects. He has negotiated transactions in every major North American compliance market, and under every major voluntary standard.
Tyson has also advised on many of North America’s most high-profile energy projects, including on the development, permitting and financing of more than 50 wind, solar, gas, hydro and energy storage projects, together representing over 7,000 MW in installed capacity. He also advises on major carbon management projects, including innovative carbon dioxide removal projects and some of the world’s largest carbon capture and sequestration projects.
