ClearBlue is proud to announce significant updates to Vantage, our global carbon intelligence platform. These enhancements represent our commitment to a "One Platform, Every Market" philosophy, providing a unified space to manage global carbon positions and strategies as new regulations like CBAM reshape the landscape.

Streamlined Navigation for Better Insights

Efficiency is at the heart of this update. We have consolidated our navigation tools to minimize clicks and maximize visibility. Former navigation features are still easily accessible within the pages now shown. The new page designs offer improved visibility of all features with further options to dig deeper into available Vantage insights.

A Global View at Your Fingertips

The new "Overview" page introduces the interactive Carbon Market Global View map, providing immediate insight into market movements across jurisdictions. The map uses color coding to show which markets are rising, falling, or stable for at-a-glance insight. You can also click into the map to learn more about any particular jurisdiction. We are rapidly expanding our coverage, having recently integrated forecast scenarios for Australia, with India, Türkiye, Vietnam, Brazil, and Colombia joining the platform soon.

Consolidated Market View

As carbon becomes a cross-border financial instrument, the ability to compare is critical. Now you can switch easily between jurisdictions and compare pricing across different global markets on a single chart to identify arbitrage opportunities or total cost-exposure. 

Alerts & Notifications

Vantage users can now stay ahead of market shifts with personalized alerts and bookmarking markets. You can now bookmark markets, or follow the impact of emerging issues by setting alerts for dataset changes, such as company-specific retirements or price changes.

CBAM Features

Additionally, our CBAM Market Insights service has been enhanced with new pricing data, visualizations, and bi-weekly analyst reports to help clients navigate the complexities of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). Subscribers can now access ClearBlue’s new CBAM exposure indices for key global goods such as steel, aluminum, cement, ammonia, and hydrogen, and track the EU ETS auctions that set the prices for CBAM certificates. Our updated CBAM calculator on the Vantage platform allows for precise cost modeling using user-entered or default emissions values, plus ClearBlue’s carbon market pricing and forecasts.
