Denitza González Quiñonez

Is an expert in carbon pricing policy design and climate strategy, with a strong emphasis on strategic decarbonization and ESG advisory. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations and a specialization in Energy and Environmental Policy, and a Master's Degree at the Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO), Mexico campus.

With over seven years of experience in international and environmental cooperation, Denitza has collaborated with policymakers and stakeholders at all levels of government in Mexico. She has successfully led international projects focused on crafting public and environmental policies, enhancing subnational climate action, and providing specialized technical support for carbon markets and forestry-based carbon capture initiatives.
