About This Job
Product Management at ClearBlue is responsible for the business management of the ClearBlue Net-Zero Portfolio Management™ platform and its commercial success. This includes the inward-focused elements of providing the engineering team with a product vision and prioritized list of features (the backlog) using the adopted engineering methodology derived from Scrum. It also means managing the outward-bounds elements of delivering the knowledge, tools, collateral, and programs that enable the business to effectively market and sell ClearBlue products.
Responsibilities:
● Translating business strategy into product strategy
● Owning the product roadmap
● Guiding the business toward the successful execution of the product strategy
● Driving action throughout the organization to help get products to market
● Working collaboratively to plan and carry out product launches
● Owning the business case of each product initiative
● Provide insight to stakeholders dependent on the product and to the target market
● Provide insights on key differentiators and messaging for sales and marketing playbooks
● Writing high-level requirements
● Managing all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues
● Manage the flow of user stories and epics to fulfill the roadmap commitments
● Be an expert on the market including who the buyers are, how they buy, and why
● Managing a team of product managers
Skills and Qualifications:
● Minimum 5 years in a product management role in a related B2B market
● Strategic thinking to help map company strategy into product strategy
● Understanding and representing user needs
● Monitoring the market and developing competitive analyses
● Aligning stakeholders around the vision for the product
● Prioritizing product features and capabilities
● Ability to effectively write technical requirements and specifications
● Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
● Excellent negotiation skills
● Ability to work remotely effectively
● Ability to travel globally occasionally
Education:
● Undergraduate or graduate degree in business, environmental studies, science, or economics
