Based in our new Calgary office, Natalie Giglio is the Business Development Lead for North America at ClearBlue Markets, specializing in market expansion, strategic sales execution, and client relationship development across compliance and voluntary markets. She brings experience in business development and carbon market communications, working with clients across energy, industrial, and financial sectors on decarbonization strategies and partnerships.
Natalie has worked on sales strategy, pipeline development, and client proposals for organizations seeking to decarbonize through technology and market solutions. Prior to joining ClearBlue, she held commercial and stakeholder-facing roles at growth-stage startups in the carbon removal and utilization space, where she led client acquisition and engagement and represented her teams in policy and technical forums.
At ClearBlue, she focuses on growing the client base across North America, aligning client needs with market intelligence solutions, and helping organizations navigate carbon pricing mechanisms to achieve their climate goals.

Scott Volk, P.Eng., M.Sc., is an accomplished energy professional and innovation leader with more than 24 years of technical, strategic, and governance experience across Canada’s oil and gas sector.
As Director of Emissions & Innovation at Tourmaline Oil Corp., Scott leads multidisciplinary teams focused on advancing emissions reduction strategies and deploying next-generation technologies. His portfolio spans regulatory strategy and compliance, carbon capture, certified natural gas, alternative fuels, government engagement, and new venture evaluation.
He also plays a prominent leadership role in Canada’s energy innovation ecosystem. Scott is President of the Clean Resource Innovation Network (CRIN), helping to drive national collaboration and investment in cleaner energy technologies. He serves on the Oversight Committee for the Alberta Upstream Petroleum Research Fund and sits on the Board of Directors for the Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada (PTAC). He further contributes to the BC Methane Research Collaborative, Avatar Innovations, and multiple NGIF investment and innovation committees.
Scott is widely recognized for translating complex technical and regulatory challenges into pragmatic strategies and collaborative solutions that deliver measurable environmental and operational outcomes.
He holds a Master of Science in Drilling and Well Engineering from Robert Gordon University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Systems Engineering from the University of Regina.

Nicholas is a Manager at ClearBlue, where he leads the Market Intelligence service for the Canadian and Voluntary Carbon Markets. He conducts the firm’s Supply and Demand modeling, providing essential analysis of the Alberta TIER, B.C. OBPS, and Ontario EPS regulatory landscapes.
In addition to his Canadian focus, Nicholas oversees coverage of the Voluntary Carbon Market, offering strategic insights into corporate demand trends, international policy, and global integrity standards such as Article 6, ICVCM, and VCMI.
Nicholas holds a Master’s Degree in Macroeconomic Policy and Financial Markets from the Barcelona School of Economics and has prior work experience in sustainability ratings for leveraged financed issuers and GHG inventory reporting.
