As the Director of Offset Projects at ClearBlue Markets, Vaibhav leads a team specialized in the development and implementation of carbon offset projects across diverse sectors and regions. With over a decade of experience in sustainability consulting and financing, Vaibhav has significantly contributed to the development and financing of more than 50 carbon projects across NBS, sustainable technologies as well as tech based removals.. His expertise extends to designing sustainability solutions, structuring bankable deals, assessing project feasibility, and carbon project development. Vaibhav holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Management and Finance from Lancaster University, UK, and a BA (Hons.) in Financial Services and International Business from Leeds Beckett University, UK. He is also certified with a Six Sigma Green Belt and has an Advanced Certification in Financial Modeling and Valuation.
Marcela joined ClearBlue Markets as Manager Carbon Project Development to identify offset potential in emission removal, avoidance, and reduction projects for development across compliance and voluntary markets. Marcela has more than a decade in the design of Nature-Based Solutions initiatives, especially carbon projects under the Voluntary Carbon Market, estimating GHG emissions reductions/removals, identifying indicators and generating recommendations for project owners. She also brings experience drafting adaptation and mitigation strategies and programs for companies to fight against climate change.
Marcela holds a master’s degree in environment and sustainable development from Montreal University and a bachelor’s degree in Forest engineering from the National University of Colombia.
With over two decades of experience in forestry and as a biometrician assessing timber and carbon stock inventory, monitoring, and modeling, including afforestation, agroforestry, restoration, participatory (community) forestry, biodiversity and wildlife management projects, Juan supports the acquisition of nature-based offsets and the development of projects that protect and restore natural ecosystems. This entails the screening, planning, developing and managing of GHG emission reduction projects. Juan applies his technical background as a Forest Engineer MSc., combining extensive field practice in several countries and analytical expertise to assess Nature-based solution offset project opportunities.

Jamie Callendar is currently a managing director of Inlandsis Fund and has played a key role in growing the investment fund’s portfolio to over 30 offset projects since 2017. He is an environmental engineer with more than 15 years of experience in developing, financing and implementing GHG reduction and environmental technology projects. Previously, at Encana Corporation, Jamie managed $35 million of investments under the Encana Environmental Innovation Fund and developed 70 carbon offset projects. Prior to Encana, Jamie was the Director of Technical Services at Blue Source Canada where he led carbon offset development activities and oversaw the external consulting business for the Canadian business unit. Jamie has been the lead author of multiple government approved GHG quantification protocols and continues to be a subject matter expert for several protocol technical working groups. In his spare time, Jamie can often be found with his shovel in the ground in his expanding orchard.
David has been a professional forester in Canada for over 20 years and has worked with industry, consultants, and government. David joined Finite Carbon in 2021 from the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment where for three years he led climate and offset policy development as Director of Climate Change Policy and Programs. During that period David’s team developed an entire regulatory framework for management of greenhouse gases. Prior to that David worked for ten years in a variety of roles including forest policy development, forest management planning, forest operations and compliance, and forest renewal with the Saskatchewan Forest Service. Before moving to west David worked as a consultant in Thunder Bay supporting forest management planning and independent forest audits. David started his forestry career planting trees in northern Ontario and has worked in silviculture across Ontario and in the United States. David is a past President of the Saskatchewan Association of Forestry Professionals and currently sits on the Association’s Council. David is a Registered Professional Forester in Saskatchewan, Alberta, Ontario, and New Brunswick.
